This trade show is organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco. Since its launch in 1994 Monaco Classic Week brings together various types of boats: from small recreational craft to luxurious classic ships, including vintage watercraft. It is a perfect time to stroll along the southern quay of the Yacht Club de Monaco Marina to gaze, admire and maybe purchase a motorboat, a sailing yacht, 12’ Dinghies or a period motor-yacht and boats of yesteryear.
Since its launch in 1977, the Cannes Yachting Festival takes place in the beautiful French Riviera every September. The show stretches from Vieux Port – the oldest harbour of the French Riviera to Canto harbour, where the world’s largest shipyards are presented.
William Hill St Leger Festival is one of the most prestigious race weeks in the British horse racing calendar. The four-day extravaganza kicks off with a charity race, where retired jockeys participate. The Ladies Day takes off next, where ladies will compete for the Best Dressed Lady title. The third day is dedicated to men; Gentlemen’s Day will offer such attraction as sports car display and laser day pigeon shooting. And finally, St Leger Day will bring the festival to a climax with the showpiece race and most acclaimed horses.
First organised by the British Fashion Council in 1983, London Fashion Week is part of the ‘Big Four’ fashion shows. The week-long event will take off on Thursday 13th in The Store Studios on 180 Strand, which is the usual location for last years’ Fashion weeks. The biannual trade event shows the best of British fashion design to the audience.
Singapore Grand Prix was first held in March 2008 and became the first night race of the Formula One history. Illuminated by the artificial lights, the event took place at 8 pm Singapore time (12 pm GMT) because it was convenient to broadcast the event in continental Europe the high temperature dropped to a comfortable level. Since then Marina Bay Street Circuit proved its status and was granted extension with F1 until 2021.
Since 2009 the Lapada Art & Antiques Fair has become a prestigious event on the London social calendar, showcasing broad pieces of art and antiques. The Exhibits include jewellery, furniture, carpets, clocks, ceramics, silver and fine art with prices ranging from £500 to £500,000 and above.
This will be the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, which will be hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost at the Microsoft Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles. The Awards will honour the best in US primetime television programming as well as online shows since 2013. Netflix changed the status Quo of Emmys Participants in 2013, and online shows are now considered for entry.
